Structure and Performance of Small Hydraulic Presses


Small hydraulic presses, according to their structure, are mainly categorized into: four-column type, single-column type (C-type), double-column type, horizontal type, and vertical frame type; based on their drive mechanism, they can be classified as pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric; in terms of sophistication, they are available in manual and automatic versions; and from a stylistic perspective, they come in tabletop and floor-standing models (ranging from 15 tons to 100 tons). In terms of performance, imported hot presses and domestically produced hot presses exhibit significant differences in the following aspects.

1. Temperature control: Domestic temperature controllers are unstable, and some electronic components are prone to leakage. The steel plates used in imported hot-press machines are thermally insulated and provide temperature stability within a range of 1 to 1.5 degrees Celsius. They heat up relatively quickly and feature highly reliable circuit protection.

2. Technical Stability: Imported hot presses have higher technical standards than domestically produced ones. The simplicity of the machine design can reduce the occurrence of errors; the simpler the machine’s assembly, the lower the likelihood of mistakes. Consequently, a significant reduction in the number of machine components greatly enhances the machine’s technical stability. 3. Cleaning Performance: Imported hot presses offer superior cleaning performance compared to domestically produced ones.

4. There is minimal product loss with imported press products because the punch structure is extremely simple—there are no threads or horizontal drill holes. Moreover, there is no deviation between the die hole and the platen surface, allowing for a significantly reduced rate of product loss.

5. The imported press equipment has minimal wear and is easy to maintain.
